These clubs operate in local youth centres for young people aged 10 to 19 years and, like the other inclusive schemes, cater specifically for children with a range of individual needs, and their siblings and friends. They are open to the wider community provided there are spaces available.

At present clubs operate in Newtown and Welshpool, but we are planning to open another one.

The clubs provide the usual youth club activities, such as sport, pool, computers, crafts, cooking, board games, parachute, quizzes and treasure hunts. Staff tend to take their lead from the young people, providing the activities they ask for. Sometimes the young people just chill out in the snack bar, which sells refreshments at cost price. Subs are collected weekly, but are a token fee (50p or £1, as agreed by the young people, parents and staff).
